1. What we collect

AlignOS stores the information you and your team enter: your company profile, weekly metrics (Weekly Pulse), quarterly priorities, commitments, obstacles, meeting notes, meeting recordings and transcripts, and user account details such as name and email.

2. How we use your data

We use your data only to provide the AlignOS service—running your meetings, generating AI summaries, tracking your numbers and priorities, and helping your team follow through on commitments. We do not sell your data.

3. Access permissions

Access to your workspace data is controlled by role. Only members of your workspace can view its data, and administrators can manage roles and permissions. Each workspace is isolated from others.

4. Meeting recording and consent

Meeting recording is optional and is only enabled when a user chooses to record. You are responsible for informing all meeting participants that the meeting is being recorded and for obtaining any consent required under applicable law. Recording controls are available in the meeting screen.

5. AI providers and data

AlignOS uses third-party AI providers to transcribe recordings and generate summaries, decisions, and commitments. When you record a meeting, the audio and transcript may be sent to these providers for processing. We recommend reviewing each provider's terms for how they handle and retain data. The AI never sends messages or assigns commitments without your review and confirmation.

6. Security

We protect your data using industry-standard practices including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, and workspace-level isolation. No security measure is perfect, and we continuously work to improve safeguards.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your workspace is active. When you delete your account, your workspace data is scheduled for deletion. Some records may persist in backups for a limited period before being permanently removed.

8. Account deletion

You can delete your account and your workspace at any time from your workspace settings. Deletion removes your company data, meetings, metrics, priorities, and commitments from the active system.

9. Data export

You can export your workspace data at any time so you retain a copy of your numbers, priorities, commitments, and meeting history.
